Wire the lock positive feed through each normally closed contact in series. Any one opening drops lock power: the controller on a valid read, the REX motion on approach, the push-to-exit button when pressed, and the fire alarm through the power supply FACP input.

The button has to cut lock power directly, independent of the access electronics. A button that only lands on a controller input does not meet that wording.

Sensor release needs both the approach sensor and the manual button. The REX motion alone is not enough.

The lock stays unlocked for not less than 30 seconds. Use a button with a timer, or the power supply timer, and verify that part.

Fire alarm release is wired through the power supply FACP input so it does not depend on access-control software.
